UP NEXT: DEAR STUDENTS

Synopsis: Vee Tato is a history professor unafraid of challenging the pedagogical status quo. Her methods may be considered a little “outside-the-box,” even downright questionable on occasion, but no one can question her principles and her commitment to forwarding the LGBTQ+ cause on campus. That is until Vee comes under fire following a very controversial class assignment involving the Lavender Scare and some “whistleblower letters.” Soon, this one assignment has the entire university embroiled in a devastating scandal. Not to mention, a newly formed and quickly out-of-control “Dear Students” Instagram account has the LGBTQ+ community on campus terrified of stepping foot outdoors. This is a play about the lines we’re willing to cross in the name of trying to right the wrongs. And also about how those wrongs of society are reflected in the mirror that is the world of Artificial Intelligence—the good, the bad and the shudderingly evil.
